|appletonianum var. hainanensis This is
the form of appletonianum from Hainan, China. They differ from other
forms by having brightly colored flowers and boldly tesselated leaves.

Here is the rare alba form of this easy to grow species.

This is what is considered a miniature or "Tea Cup" style.
Overall smaller sized plant and flower. these have been flowering
with intense pink dorsals.
A species? A natural hybrid? You make the choice. An easy
to grow and flower plant that is very attractive.
Yellow with a light sprinkling of red spots. Slightly larger
than the typical concolor form.
